  1. I like the picture that you've chosen for Petronas Towers. I saw some depicting them in the daylight and they weren't so impressive. These lights on the top look really nice. Also the idea of a bridge connecting them is interesting. It's a bit pretentious kind of architecture, but I like it. However, I suppose it would look even better if it was twice shorter ;-)

  2. As for french Spider-Man do you remember him climbing on our Mariott hotel in Warsaw? It was really shocking to see him climbing with such an ease, meter after meter to top of the building.

By the way - did you know that the tallest man-made construction was set up here in Poland? It was the radio mast in Konstantynow (646,6 m) which collapsed in 1991 probably due to unequal ropes strain.

  4. I read that in eight years Alain Robert has climbed over seventy skyscrapers and mythical monuments around the world including National Bank of Abu Dhabi, the Sydney Opera House in Australia, the Eiffel Tower and Montparnasse Tower in Paris. His web site states that his next challenge is to scale the Burj Dubai. Break a leg! Alain :)

  6. Wow this double building looks impressive specially because of the lights on the top. I wish to see it at night. Sometimes when the building is really high and great, the splendour is not seen specially on the photo. For an example when I look at Petronas Towers and Burj Dubai, the second one is not imposing for me. Everything depend on preparing- light illumination really make a lot.

  7. Petronas Towers are strong landmark of Malesia (or even of Asia) and attracts a lot of turists and investors. That is what Dubai is trying to achieve.
Interesting thing is that there you can loose you hand for corruption:)

  8. Those towers look pretty impressive, especially in the night. I wonder how much did it cost to create them and most importantly how long did it take.

On the contrary to that guy you posted video about, I would be happy to just get up using an elevator. View from top of those buildings has to be amazing.

While we are at it, does anyone else find that guy strange? I mean yes, his dream is original and Its admirable he actually managed to fullfill it but still, its slightly disturbing some people dont care whatever the rules say and will just keep trying to do such things till it works.

Nothing wrong with being stubborn about fullfilling your dreams but come on, what if he fell down. He would die yes....tough luck he might have deserved it BUT...

What if he fell on your head? Poof....

  9. Climing so many meters? Wow, it must be a nice injection of adrenaline. I guess I would never summon up on something like this.
