Hi this part will be more seriouse. I want to introduce three best players of all time which had the privilege to play on the biggest football fields of the world. Of course there was a lot of good players but this three are by me the best.
On the 3rd place is Zinedine Zidane. He was playing in football representation of France with which he got the titles of World Champions and Europe Champions (1998, 2000). He had grate overview of field. He saw literally every thing that happened on the field. Plus unexceptional technique which "Zizou" had and we have one of the world best players. Unfortunately last game in his career wasn't worthy the title one of world best players becouse in World Cup finals in Germany he with his head hit Italian player Marco Materazzi geting red card becouse of that.
2nd place belong's to Pele the legendary Brazilian player. While he was 17 he played his first game in representation of Brazil and thanks to his play in 1985 Brazil got the title of World Cup Champions. He was very good at dribbling and scoring goals was quite easy thanks to that in 91 games of Brazilian representation he scored 77 goals.
The 1st place goes unconditionally to the irreplaceable and one of a kind Diego Armando Maradona. He was remarkable player. His amazing game with England in quater finals of World Cup in 1986 was something marvellous. First he scored not so nice goal (becouse by hand) but later he scored beautiful goal passing around 6 rivals which let Argentina advance to finals and winning World Cup.
If you are interested in Football or any other sport I encourage you to make your own Best players list with short justification why and if not then to watching movies and puting this players in order which you thing is best.
"From the mid-1980s until 2004 Diego Maradona was addicted to cocaine." In fact, this is a great football player. Fascinating is the phenomenon of football players. No matter how they live, what they do, the most important is that they can run a hundred yards and hit the rectangle 7 to 2.5 meters.
ReplyDeleteI thought earlier about the phenomenon of some football players and others sportsmen in general and I see a sad tendency in treating them by media. What I mean is that they are not really concentrated on theirs abilities and the fact if they are truly good or not but rather on their popularity. For me they spend too much time on focusing on things like: how they look like, if they are attractive or not, who is with whom, what they are wearing, drinking... and many many other such stupid things. Obviously it is not regarding to sports channel (I hope).I think that sport is a really great thing and I wish media would be more serious in talking about it. Sorry for this not strongly connected with topic notion:)
ReplyDeleteEvery sports discipline needs an icon - emanation of the best virtues which can help in raising new generations in spirit of fair play and other positive things. That's why football has it's Zidane, Pele, Maradona and others.
ReplyDeleteLike I said in previous comments, Im not a fan of football but I still heard about Zinedine Zidane!
ReplyDeleteThat may mean two things. Either I heard about him because of his football skills, or because he was just one of those "known" players.
By the way, thank you for that Headbutt movie! Perhaps it was a bit too much on Zidane's side but we will never know, maybe that rival player grabbed his butt or..? Headbutt well deserved then.
What Małgorzata said is quite an interesting thing actually. How many of those football players actually play well in comparision to just looking good?
I know that they judge skills of players basing on things they can actually do, number of goals they score etc. But still I cant help to wonder how much of it is skill and how much is luck or fact that some totally not known player performed a good pass.
I just want to mention story when Ronaldihno was noticed by Real Mardid head hunters before the peak of his popularity. He didn't get there because Real's manager found him too ugly to be a player of Royal club.
ReplyDeleteLately when they wanted buy him from Barcelona he said that he never would join them because of this insult.
We know that he is a player of huge skills and not so attractive face:) despite of this he managed to be treated as one of the best players in the world.
